Our cottage is just across the road from the Colonial Cottage Museum in Nairn Street. We are on the fringe of the city and the whole family walks to work and school from here.
Having lived in Newtown, Sydney, for years, we are city dwellers. At the weekend we like to go to the fruit and vegetable market in Willis Street, and are even closer to the best French Bakery in the world (except perhaps in France). We are a 5-10 minute walk to everything in the city. This includes restaurants, cafes, boutique shopping and art galleries/museums..
The Karori Wildlife Sanctuary appears to be supplying us with gorgeous wild Tuis who love our eucalyptus tree. Tuis are very clever and talk back to you if they are so inclined. More...
